It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our good friend George "Taz" Matthews, who recently lost his long battle with cancer. Taz was an original member and the driving force behind the creation of our club. The Durham Cruisers was his vision. Taz was very much involved in many charity events and for a number of years was the Chief Co-ordinator for the Durham Region for the Ride For Sight. We can honestly say that he never lost his humour and will truly be missed by all that knew him. May he rest in peace.
